POWER

POWER
A good thing to acquire
Should be none but power.
Please, doubt not the strenght of power
For a great rewarder
Stays a pinch of power
From a power wielder
While a bucket of power
Worths the world over.
Before wearing your attire
Of doubt, I'll take you farther
Back to the old Oyo empire
When lived in the empire
A man called Basorun Gaa:
With lots and lots of power
From position, wizardry and voodoo attire.
Well respected and well admired,
He was second in the empire
To the king of the empire.
Suddenly, suddenly Basorun Gaa
And all the fruits of Gaa
Changed and went haywire
When driven by strenght of power
Then fear formed a very bitter
Sweet on the lips of old Oyo dwellers
And disaster lay over disaster
In the old Oyo empire
When lived Basorun Gaa
And all the fruits of Gaa
When they needed candle in the empire
Houses of dwellers, they set on fire
When the king of the old Oyo empire
Rode on horses, Basorun Gaa
And all the fruits of Gaa
Rode on the back of dwellers.
Three kings of the old Oyo empire
Basorun Gaa took to slaughter.
All the fruits of Gaa
And Gaa in the old Oyo empire
Were so over driven by power.
Heads and flesh of dwellers
They joyfully place on their amala.
Finally, power failed Basorun Gaa
He was caught by the dwellers
Who burnt and bartered
His flesh at the market square
Though, a good thing to acquire
Should be none but power
But a careless wielder
Could change and go haywire
Like Gaa and all the fruits of Gaa.

AN ACTOR DE LA VIE

AN ACTOR DE LA VIE

Chow Yun-Fat, de Jet Li

Or the old Tufan... "na-hi!"

Or sometimes to ramsey

Noahing for actress Nnaji

In look I look forward to marry

Or to softwared Zakari

Levi, the sudden spy to a funny

Ryan Artward_ stolen car_ to tarry

To later land in county

To van damme the hurting mommy

For me an actor de la vie

Acting terrorly tragedy comedy

To CHRISACEDARUTH tragicomedy

For my life's like a movie

With root smooth to fizzy

To fizzy dizzy busy be

Lazily crazily hurrying to thirty

With brans of dilly-dally

A movie higgledy-piggledy

Moving come what may be

Rolled at lenght to end one day.

MARTIN LUTHER KING

MARTIN LUTHER KING

Martin Luther King Junior

Junior's Junior the free gift of nature

The charming dark Junior was mature

With heart no rage could harbour

With talking tongue of truth and more

Of martyr than mere creature

And thy coming again I'm not sure

For you've made the pasture for sure

Of equality, oneness without war

So evergreen for us for sure

For Junior's opinions of your saw

Genuinely still see till date favour

From all documents rigid called law

Please, rest in peace for evermore

For thy comin...

A LOT OF CARROTS THAN CANDY

A LOT OF CARROTS THAN CANDY

If you see me chew my lady

A lot of carrots than candy

And wake to tea cup than coffee

And always hum my tongue like bee

With water mixed with honeybee

And always chew gum with minty

Or cranberry or pure parsley

Everywhere I go my lady

Mainly you should know my lady

Such habit my dentist told me

Will cure my bad breath easily.

BIMBOLA AYOMITIDE WILSON

BIMBOLA AYOMITIDE WILSON

Bimbola Wilson; a radio deity, I must say
And many maidens and many virgin ears do pray
And do strive to hear her everyday
While many cynic tongues will grow tooth decay
And commonly they say, deities marry in May
But this pretty deity, I must say
Hooked her prince in month far from May
For married men and single eyes to pry away
And make the marriage grow and so I pray
For her pumpkin cheek waiting on the tray
Of her smiling face always waylay
Worries of the eyes and tears of the minds away
While her cinderella shoes and sweet spray
And necklace do match her decent array
For the palace of her face without Mary Kay
Stays the museum with beautiful display
Of sanguinism, christianism with platonic display
Of virtues and integrity while she plays
And talks but takes not nonsense by the way
Someday, I'll fly away like a fairy play
But fester not thy feelings while I'm far away
For thy happiness and internet and the valley
To thy workplace shall symbolise me each day
Reminding thee of my promises to fetish the display
Of thy face and cares and cease to fray
Thy mementos in my mind while I'm far away
For while I'm far away, this poem will stay
And this poem will stay forever while I'm far away.

FRANCESCA 3

FRANCESCA 3
The smiles of the stars,
Crickets near and far
Playing the musical fa
Plus the play and whisper
Of the nearby lovers
Can neither debar
Nor delete the scar
Of loneliness I bear
Whenever you are far

TIREDNESS

Tiredness' devouring
Now my skin
Like one I-was-pouncing
-And-picking
-Ants-then-saw-a-serpent-coming
-And-began-to-run-to-jump-and-spring
-So-fast-to-survive-and-leaving
-Not-the-land-of-the-living
-But-unlucky-caught-and-bitten
-To-death frog being
Devoured by a green
Serpent I was watching
One evening
So I must recline now my skin
On my tiny bed with spring
And sleep till coming
Morning.

FROM MARROW TO GENE

Now I hate my mind from marrow to gene
For my mind's making mad of my simple skin
Loudly boasting, badly bragging and making
me to sin
Saying thicking and thocking a matter of
timing
Before thy tight tongue began tonguing
Tonguing talking singing and saying
I'm the father rather grandfather for
monorhyming
While my blue litle Gideon keeps warning
From morning to morning to morning to
saying
Boasting and priding are fountain of falling
But what can my mind do to my mind making
me to sin?
When men on the road fish on their foam and
ghost of men roaming
Clearly even can still hear my mind humming
Saying thicking and thocking a matter of
timing
Before moos and mews and men began
miming
With their chin rhyming singing and saying
I'm the father rather grandfather for
monorhyming
While my blue Gideon Bible keeps warning
From morning to morning to morning to
saying
Boasting and priding are fountain of falling
But me being can't stab my mind to miss
gene
To miss gin to miss sin to miss seeing fried
rice with green bean
And miss missing my queen and many
worldly things
Yet I hate my mind from marrow to gene.

WHATEVER I THINK, I BELIEVE I CAN DO

Three fishes deprived me of 9/9; hmmmm the 2012, 35th NB Plc. International Chess Championship was just funny.Whatever I think, I believe I can do. Wisdom matters, there's nothing bad in being a Goliath, if a man can resist tiny temptations like David.

EVERY TWINKLE OF AN EYE

Every twinkle of an eye
A one is making another to cry
A daddy is making a mommy to cry
A mommy is making a baby to cry
A baby is making a dolly to cry
So one is making another to cry
A brother is making a brother to cry
A lover is making a loving to cry
An ovum is making an ovary to cry
And one is making another to cry
A robber is making a richer to cry
A richer is making a pauper to cry
A pauper is making a belly to cry
So one is making another to cry
A Chelsea is making a Barca to cry
A Cisse is making a Drogba to cry
A Drogba is making a Carroll to cry
And one is making another to cry
A bully is making a kiddy to cry
A killer is making a mourner to cry
A monarch is making a crier to cry
So one is making another to cry
Every twinkle of an eye
